Necessity is the mother of App development. I left the tech industry after 17 years to start an ecotourism facility in my village. While I was relishing the challenges in the hospitality vertical, I was also excited by the new frontiers AI was crossing almost on a monthly basis. At the same time, I also noticed that my guest interactions are happening more and more on Whatsapp, compared to conventional channels like email and telephone. Bring the three together - domain knowledge from hospitality, possibilities of AI and universal adoption of Whatsapp! Sophia was born as an inhouse project for my eco-resort. The possibilities soon excited me enough to take it to the market, as a robust customer engagement solution for multiple B2C contexts.
